CHI KUNG OR ‘BREATH WORK’ IS A RELAXING FORM OF GENTLE
EXERCISE COMBINING BREATHING AND MOVEMENT TO PROMOTE A
HARMONIOUS FLOW OF ENERGY THROUGH THE BODY.
TAI CHI FORM IS COMPOSED OF A SERIES OF SLOW, GRACEFUL
MOVEMENTS LINKED TOGETHER IN A CONTINUIOUS, SMOOTH
FLOWING SEQUENCE. THIS TRADITIONAL CHINESE FORM OF
EXERCISE IS SUITABLE FOR ALL AGE GROUPS AND IS PARTICULARLY
BENEFICIAL TO THE MORE MATURE STUDENT.
TAI CHI HELPS TO REDUCE STRESS, IMPROVE FLEXIBILITY AND
INCREASE BONE DENSITY.
Tai Chi is non-competitive and no special clothing or equipment is required.
